Hi!

We all know the marble trend and I absolutely love it! Phone cases, jewels, sweaters and yes, even ice cream! And of course stationary! Who wouldn’t love marble stationary?! Today I’m going to show you how to make your own marble notebooks, envelops, …

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • plain shaving cream
  • white paper / cards / envelopes
  • paint
  • ruler (30 cm works the best)
  • plastic, so you don’t make a mess
  • a thin stick, i used the back of a paintbrush

First lay your plastic down. Then spray your shaving cream, not too much! When you think it’s enough, flatten the schaving cream with your ruler. Make your ruler clean again, we will need it later again.

This is the step is where you can get creative, add paint and spread it out. Not to much, you want stripes, no grey!

When you’re happy with it, take your paper/ envelope / … and push it into the shaving cream, when done, slowly pull your paper/ envelope … out.

The last step: Now take your ruler again and scrape remaining shaving cream off, then dry the paper under heavy books to prevent crinkling.

Now you have your own stationary! You can also do this with a notebook, even with fabric (then use fabric paint).

Lots of love
